Bespoke shoemaking is a collaborative process.
The shoe styles listed below are a good starting point to get an idea of what you can have made – but I’ll work with you to custom design exactly what you’d like.
My shoes are extensively handmade - which means that while I’m still using a sewing machine and a sanding machine, I make my shoes completely by hand - no factory, no heavy industrial shoe machinery, no heat-set plastic rubbish product, and not hundreds of people working on their small part of thousands of shoes. It’s just me, from start to finish.
Handmade shoes are very different to what you’ll see produced very efficiently for sale in shops (even the high end ones), and they’re obviously more expensive because of that – but they’re made especially for your feet, to an exact specification, with the absolute highest quality materials and attention to detail.

Once you’ve decided to have a pair of shoes custom made, we’ll go ahead and organise an initial consultation - just email me!. Payment terms are 20% (plus 100% of any optional extras) on completion of the initial consultation, 40% on approval of design, 40% on completion.
My standard working timeframe for a pair of handmade shoes is 8-12 weeks (depending on delivery of any overseas materials).

Dress shoes – from $950
- Available as a wholecut, oxford, or derby (laced or double monkstrap).
- Stacked leather heel
- Various styles and toe shapes available
- A range of single or contrast colour options, in Italian calf.
- Full leather uppers and lining
- Genuine Baker leather (UK) insoles and JR leather (Germany) outsoles
- Hand-welted and sole stitched
- Extras available include Brogues, decorative hole punching and contrast stitching, golf spikes, Norwegian welting, decorative welt stitching, and exotic leathers (crocodile, ostrich, etc). Additional costs apply.
Hiking boots – from $850
- High-cut design, with comfort collar
- Made in a heavy-weight harness leather, or a smooth regular-weight nubuck leather
- Bellows tongue
- Riveted hook and d-ring hardware
- Stitchdown construction, with Genuine Baker leather (UK) insoles, EVA cushion midsole, and Vibram one-piece outsole
- Extras available include Norwegian welting, decorative welt stitching
Court shoes – from $750
- Classic court shoe (pump), lace-up ladies Oxford, combination design – or completely custom.
- Italian soft calf or Kangaroo leather uppers in a range of colour options
- Peep-toe, d’Orsay, and sandal (strap) options available)
- Internal and external platforms available (to fit standard heel heights)
- Heel heights from 0mm (ballet flat) up to a 125mm (5-inch) stiletto heel.
- Various toe shapes available
- Custom-made laminated five-part insole
- Cement construction
- Extras available include Brogues, decorative hole punching and contrast stitching, optional full leather (welted) sole construction, wedge (including platform), exotic leathers (crocodile, ostrich, etc), custom heel heights (laminated and reinforced), and custom platforms plus custom heels. Additional costs apply.
Fashion boots – from $1,250
- Ankle-high to above-the-knee. Fully lined, medial zipper.
- Custom-fit calf measure
- Standard high-heel, stacked-leather cowboy heel (1.5 inch).
- Internal and external platforms available (to fit standard heel heights)
- Italian soft calf or Kangaroo leather uppers in a range of colour options
- Various toe shapes available
- Custom-made laminated five-part insole
- Cement construction
- Extras available include Brogues, decorative hole punching and contrast stitching, leather inlay/overlay artwork, optional full leather (welted) sole construction, wedge (including platform), and exotic leathers (crocodile, ostrich, etc), custom heel heights (laminated and reinforced), and custom platforms plus custom heels. Additional costs apply.
Children’s/Infant’s shoes – from $250
Babies’ feet are fragile and their everyday footwear is very soft. Please note that my infant shoes are made with the same traditional handmade techniques as all my other shoes – they are designed to be gifted as a memento, and for very occasional wear (e.g. to a Christening or a Wedding). While I make them as soft as I am possibly able, they are stiffer than traditional infant’s shoes.
- Boy’s Derby shoe, Girl’s Mary-jane ballet flat (Velcro & elastic fastening), or desert boot options
- Italian soft calf or Kangaroo leather uppers in a range of colour options
- Comfort (heel) collar, calf-lining
- Soft counter (heel) and toe-box reinforcement
- Cement construction
- Sizes from Infant 0 to 13.5, and Children (using adult sizing starting at size 1) sizes available
